How to Make Perfectly Round Pancakes
Have you tried my Sweet Potato Cardamom Buckwheat Pancakes yet?!. They’re awesome!
My pancakes aren’t normally as photogenic as those in the picture; that is, until I picked up this awesome guy:
A biscuit cutter! You’ll want the largest one you can find; mine is 4 inches in diameter. From there, it’s easy:
- Place biscuit cutter in hot, oiled frying pan.
- Spoon batter into the cutter; I usually make mine about 1/3-1/2 inch thick.
- Smooth the top with a spoon
- Let set for about 30 seconds before lifting and doing the next pancake.
Enjoy your photo-ready phlapjaks!
