On the Table in June
On the Table highlights a few hit recipes that I’ve made this month.
Is it July already?! June went so fast! Actually, this whole year is just flying by…
I was busy in the kitchen this month, but I’ve managed to whittle down the recipes to 4 standouts that I’d like to share with you. Let’s get to it!
- Avocado Apricot Wraps from Happy Hearted Kitchen: I would have never thought of pairing two of my favourite A-fruits, but the combo really works with the fragrant basil and nutty Dukkah. The perfect summery light lunch.
- Roasted Cauliflower Tacos from the Love and Lemons cookbook: I’ve yet to make a recipe that’s been any less than fantastic from this cookbook, and these tacos are no exception! I’m not normally a fan of the adobo flavour, but it works wonderfully with the roasted cauliflower.
- Sweet Potato Brownies from Deliciously Ella: Woah, these are some seriously awesome brownies! They were pretty good out of the oven, but after chilling in the freezer/fridge, they hit 5 stars territory. Definitely going to be experimenting with some add-ins.
- Millet Buckwheat Bread from Amy Chaplin: Another delicious, easy bread from Amy Chaplin! I also made her Sesame No-Knead Bread this month; probably the best return on investment you can make! 10 minutes to throw things together at night, and you can have fresh bread the next morning.
So, that wraps up my favourites from June. What were the kitchen hits for you this month? Please share in the comments below!
